Champions Manor Hall rises from the ashes of the old Elmwood School:
The old Elmwood School was demolished in March 2003 and over the next nine months Champions Manor Hall was built – completion in February 2004.
The digger moves in:
Work started on creating the bowls green in March 2004.
We need it flat:
From April through August 2004 the base was put down, flattened and then sand applied.
Laying the new carpet:
The bowling green carpet is carefully placed in September 2004.
Ready to Go:
Green finished – keeping it in top condition.
First roll-up on the new green – a get together prior to the Club’s first C&D game:
