The minimum requirement for anyone to take up the game is a pair of bowling shoes (not trainers), a set of woods and appropriate clothing.  We have a stock of different sized bowls available for you to try before you buy.  <\/strong><\/p>\n

Bowls shoes are specific to the sport and have absolutely flat soles with no grips\/ markings on them – this is to ensure the playing surfaces (Indoor and Outdoor) are protected.   <\/strong><\/p>\n

Roll-Ups<\/h3>\n

  • For roll-ups there is no formal dress code, apart from bowling shoes to protect the green<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    League Matches and all External Competitions <\/h3>\n
      \n
    • For league play, external competitions and any match where a bowler is representing the Club, a Club shirt (available from the Club*) is a requirement and grey or black trousers, skirts or tailored shorts.  External Competition finals usually require white trousers, skirts or shorts.  *Club jackets are also available.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Friendly Matches<\/h3>\n

      • For friendly games against other clubs we play in mostly grey or black with the odd exception of white below the waist and a Club shirt.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Internal Club Competitions<\/h3>\n
